Our methodology
The Les Alpes methodology is a five-level development system built around a child’s ski level, ability and learning pace. Each level completes the one before it, moving your child forward technically, physically and mentally.

The number that changes everything.
A coach who watches three children can see each one. Below that number a lesson becomes supervision; above it, the child learns by waiting.
- Every mistake is caught A wrong stance is corrected in the same run, before it becomes a habit.
- Nobody waits in line Time on the slope is spent skiing, not queueing behind ten children.
- The pace is the child’s own Three children of similar level move together; nobody is pushed or held back.

Junior
12 hours of one-on-one training
At this age we teach one-on-one rather than in groups. Play-based learning helps the child enjoy skiing while developing basic motor skills.

Beginner
24 hours in total
Stance, balance, braking and steering are learned. By the end the child can ski a blue run under control.

Intermediate
36 hours in total
More controlled skiing, an independent stance and pace management. Turn variety grows and the child starts to develop a personal style.

Advanced
60 hours of structured training
Speed control, agility, endurance and technical precision. Children completing this level qualify as youth athletes and prepare for Let’s Race.

Let’s Race
Annual training and race plan
The race team that follows Advanced. The head coach builds a plan around individual goals — race categories from U8 to U18, on the national pathway.

Each coach works one-to-one with at most three athletes.
Federation certified coaches
Every coach holds a Turkish Ski Federation certificate.

1 What qualifications do the coaches hold?
All of our coaches hold antrenör certificates approved by the Turkish Ski Federation.
2 How does a child join the race team?
Selection camps are held at the start and end of each season for the youth and Let’s Race teams. Let’s Race athletes then follow an annual training and race plan.
3 How do you decide which level my child joins?
We take the child’s age and skiing experience at registration. On the first day of camp the coaches assess their level on snow and place them in the right group. The group can still change during the camp — the point is for each child to progress at their own pace.
4 How long does it take to complete a level?
Each level has a defined total: 12 hours for Junior, 24 for Beginner, 36 for Intermediate and 60 for Advanced. Those hours build up across the season rather than in a single camp. Moving up is not about filling the hours — it happens when the coach confirms the level’s outcomes are met.
