01 "What age children can participate in ski camps?"
All children between 3.5 and 15 years old can participate in our camps with their families.
02"My child has never skied, is that a problem?"
No problem at all. Les Alpes' teaching methodology is suitable for children of all levels. Groups are divided according to children's skiing level and each child progresses at their own pace.
03 "What is the formation of your trainers?"
All our instructors have coaching certificates approved by the Turkish Ski Federation. They are also loving and experienced people with high communication skills with children.
04 "How are group distinctions made? Is the age difference very important?"
Groups are primarily divided according to level. However, if there is a difference of 3-4 years, the age factor is also taken into account.
05"How many hours of ski lessons are there in a day?"
A total of 12 hours of lessons are held during the camp: 2 hours on the first day, 4 hours each on the second and third days and 2 hours on the last day.
06"Can we have peace of mind about the safety of children?"
Absolutely. 1 coach works with a maximum of 3 children. In addition, lessons are held on tracks suitable for the level of the children. Safety is our top priority.
07"Is a helmet compulsory?"
Yes, helmets are now compulsory in all ski resorts.
08"Should we bring the equipment?"
Skis, ski shoes and poles are provided by us. However, helmets and goggles must be child-specific for hygiene reasons.
09"What should we bring with us?"
In the 'Camp Details' section there is a full list of what should be in the bag. You can check there.
10"Can I talk to my child during class?"
We understand your excitement, but calling or waving at your child during class is distracting for him/her and the other children. For this reason, we do not approve of communication during the lesson.
11"What awaits children outside the camps?"
There are fun activities after skiing: Sled games, activities at the hotel's kids club, night cinema and night skiing on the day of departure.
12"How do we get information during the camp, like photos, videos..."
We set up a WhatsApp group the day you check in. Photos and videos are shared here on a daily basis
13"My son is so eager, can he make the racing team?"
At the beginning and end of the season, we recruit athletes for the infrastructure and Let's Race race team with selection camps that we announce on our website and Instagram page.
14"What should we do for my child to become a national athlete in the future?"
A special annual training and race plan is prepared for the athletes selected for the Let's Race team. Our goal in this journey is to carry the athletes to the national team.
15"What happens if plans change? Do we have the right to cancel or refund?"
Of course. Cancellations made within a certain period of time before the camp are refunded. Detailed cancellation and refund conditions are specified in the registration form. We always conduct a transparent and fair process.
16"What is included in the camp fee, do we have to pay anything extra?"
The camp fee includes ski instruction, equipment rental (skis, shoes, poles), accommodation, meals, instructor support and all social activities. Personal equipment such as helmets and goggles belong to the family.
17"Will I be able to get information about my child's progress after the camp is over?"
Yes! Our instructors follow each child's progress one-to-one. At the end of the camp, families receive written or verbal feedback on their children's technical progress and social participation.
18"So what makes Les Alpes different from other ski clubs?"
Our biggest difference is that all our instructors are certified coaches approved by the Turkish Ski Federation and the development-oriented Les Alpes methodology. high communication skills with children. We raise children who learn while having fun and develop in confidence. For us, success is not only about degrees; it is about happy, self-confident and developing children.
19"The idea of camping abroad is very exciting, but... Do the children go to the Austrian camp alone?"
No, the children do not go alone. The Les Alpes team and you, our precious families, accompany the children throughout the camp. During the flight, transfer, accommodation and camp, the children are under the supervision of professional trainers and responsible staff.
20"Do you need a certain level to participate in the Austrian camp?"
Yes, these camps are usually planned for intermediate and advanced children. But if your child is at the basic level, participation will be clarified after an individual assessment.
21"How long does the Austria camp last and on which dates is it held?"
The Austrian camps are usually organized during the semester breaks or in April and last between 6-8 days. Exact dates are announced at the beginning of the season. You can follow our camps abroad.
22"What is the language of instruction in camps abroad? Do children feel foreign?"
No, our instructors speak Turkish and are in constant communication with the children. In addition, child-friendly environments that are sensitive to Turkish culture are preferred for the comfort of the children in the camp centers.
23"Are Skipass and equipment fees included in the camp fee?"
Yes, the camp fee for Austria and Erzurum includes CHILDREN'S skipass, skis, ski boots and baton. Helmet and goggles must be personalized for each child for hygiene reasons and are provided by the family. ADULT SKI PASS AND EQUIPMENT ARE NOT INCLUDED.
24"How many hours a day is the class, is it an intensive program?"
Austrian camps offer 4-5 hours of ski training per day on average. There are two sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, with rest and meal breaks in between. The program is intense but balanced.
25"Does the ski resort there have slopes suitable for children?"
Absolutely. The centers we have selected have special tracks for children, safe training areas and large tracks divided by level. There is a suitable track for every child, from beginner to advanced.
